Author forums and blogs often say that Boxed Sets are selling well at the moment. What is an eBook Boxed Set? It is a compilation of various ebooks in one file, with a well-functioning easy-to-navigate Table of Contents at the front.
Readers are fond of Boxed Sets as they get several books for a cheaper price than purchasing them individually, and authors are fond of Boxed Sets as they sell fast and are great marketing tools.
How do the boxed set covers work?
On Amazon we find the 3D Boxed Set images that look like a bundle of real books. The cover image comprises of a front cover that is often titled with the series name and “Complete Collection” or “Books 1 – 3” or “Series.” The author name of course appears too. The spine has the book names, a background and possibly a small cover image of each book in the series at the top.
Ebook sites like iBooks, Barnes & Noble and Kobo unfortunately do not accept Boxed Set images, so for those sites the flat front cover from the boxed set alone will be uploaded.
Pricing is as follows:
- 3 – 4 Books Set – $ 75
- 5 – 6 Books Set – $ 85
- 7 – 8 Books Set – $ 95
- 9 – 12 Books Set – $ 105
Normally authors use the first cover in a series for the front and I change the text for that, but if you wish to have a new different cover for the front you need to first order a custom cover or buy a premade cover from my site.
A flat 2D version of the cover is included in the price.
Please provide the following information when ordering a box set cover:
- Number of Books
- Which cover to use for the front and text details for the front (e.g. “The Complete Series” or “Book 1 – 3”)
- Whether you want numbers and small cover images on the spines.
- If possible point to a box set image on this page with the style that you prefer. Let me know if you want the spines extra thin or normal.
- Let me know if you want me to add in a reflection at the bottom or not.

I also only work with covers purchased from me, as I do not have the image rights to covers designed by other designers or their font licenses.
